Summerell Arts founder Anna Lysack has managed chamber music ensembles since 2013. Prior to her work in artist management, Anna served as the Executive Director of the Martina Arroyo Foundation. Anna has worked in fundraising at the Metropolitan Opera and the Glimmerglass Festival, and held positions at Spoleto Festival USA, Opera Carolina and Chautauqua Opera. She holds an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Davidson College and a Masters in Performing Arts Administration from New York University.
Anna played the violin moderately well from ages 5 - 19, and less well from 20 - 25. Anna lives in New York City with her husband and their Bernese Mountain Dog.
Artistic coordinator Elisabeth Harris joined Summerell Arts in 2021. Pursuing a dual operatic career in the United States and New Zealand, Elisabeth has performed as a mezzo-soprano with all the major opera and choral societies throughout her home country. In the United States, Elisabeth has performed with the Martina Arroyo Foundation; Gateway Classical Music society; Opera Project Columbus and The Bronx Opera Company. Elisabeth holds a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music, and a degree in English and History from The University of Canterbury.
She is passionate about performing her award winning role of Orlofsky; climbing mountains; and sharing her life-long love of music with others through teaching, mentoring and outreach programs.
